I met Chad on the raft that floats on the pond on my parents farm. We were going to play on the same soccer team that fall. I was already in jr. high, and was a big shot. But he was the only other person I had met who could do a back flip off the raft as good as I could. He always was crazy like that. He and Stacey met on the river in West Virgina. They have lived in Colorado, Flordia, Hawaii, W. Virginia, and some places in between. I knew Stacey was a keeper the day she drove chad's truck up mosquito pass to help me dig out my jeep from the snow 2 years ago on the 4th of july. She helped me shovel and got me home before the fireworks started. She just 4-wheeled right up the mountian, and never once complained. She is crazy like that. I really owed her one for that. So when they told me they were going to get married, and asked me to photograph their wedding, I was happy to do so. (Besides, I really owed one to stacey). They got married on the Kanawha River just downstream from where they met in West Virgina, at 5:00 pm on June 29th, 2003. It was raining that day, but they didn't seem to mind one bit. They always were crazy like that.
